 The  following are the activities  leading to the US Quadricentennial Celebration:




June 17, 2010 to January 30, 2011

Lumina Pandit: An Exhibition of Historical Collections 70th Year Celebration of the Annual National Painting Competition and Exhibition

A display of precious and significant collection of books and other materials accumulated through the years by the UST Benavides Library that reflects the growth of the nation and the unfolding of UST’s history.

June 23, 2010

Q Welcome Party and Launch of the Short Film Festival

There will be a Dance Party at Quadri Square. There will be launching of "Anong Kwentong UST mo?"  and distribution of copies of Calendar of Quadri Activities

September 1, 2010

Search for  Mr. and Ms. Quadricentennial

This week is allotted for the event’s posters, promotions and announcements.

UST Christmas Concert Gala for the benefit of the Conservation of UST's Cultural Heritage

January 21 and 22, 2011 Operas at the Cultural Center of the Philippines featuring Cavalleria Rusticana and Gianni Schicchi Operas will be presented by the UST Conservatory of Music  with guest alumni  performers

      A search for the Mr. and Ms. Quadricentennial who will join the float parade on January 27, 2011 as student ambassadors of the Q celebration.

       Trimming down from top 10 to top 3 of the candidates.

January 25, 2011 Short Film Festivals' Awards Night It will be a whole day affair of film showing at different venues inside the campus. There will also be an Awards Night and will end with a feature film.

·          Conference of Catholic Theological Institutions (COCTI)

·          Dominican Regents of Study

A gathering of presidents and top administrators of the member universities of ICUSTA, the conference anchored on the philosophy of St. Thomas will discuss current issues on education. A special part of the conference will highlight the 400th year anniversary of UST with an invited prominent international keynote speaker

March 25, 2011 Baccalaureate Mass for the Quadricentennial graduates This is the closing of the AY 2010-2011 that marks the graduation of the students for the Quadricentennial year.  Presentation of the Quadricentennial Scholars.

During the 35th  Coral Anniversary celebration held  at Corinthian Garden, Quezon City last November 8, 2003,  the members of the Executive Committee who will lead the batch to the 40th Ruby anniversary celebration were elected.  

 Before any plans and programs for our 40th Ruby anniversary celebration can be developed, the Executive Committee members deemed it necessary to organize a leadership team that will serve as the officers of the de facto Alumni Association.  These officers are as follows:
